I love this hoop! I was watching Good Morning America and the gentleman that holds the worlds record for most rotations in 1 min said he was using the j/fit weighted hoop to set the record. I've been wanting to do a hula-hoop related workout for a while, so I figured that he would be using the best hoop available so I ordered one that day, and I am so glad I did! It comes with soft neoprene over an evenly distributed weighted ring. It's great material that doesn't snag on my clothes.

The other reviews mentioned that it hurt, I have had no problems, but it is weighted, it's not the old fashion plastic hoop!

The large size made it a little difficult to start, but I quickly became more proficient at hooping and love the workout that the large size gives me. It takes more effort to get it around than your basic hoop, therefore it's a great workout. I'm slowly getting better, I've managed to walk a couple steps around my living room. I want to make this a daily routine so that I can do some more of the moves to improve the workout. I definitely notice my stomach getting stronger!
